When 300km/hour is not enough, there are some ideas to create jet-powered aircraft using Shark design, so You could fly 400-500 km/hour according to used engine.

Price-induction jet looks nice for that purposes :
At Take Off Power, you can get up to 255daN, consuming 80kg/h of fuel for the DGEN 380 and 330daN with 100kg/h fuel consumption for the DGEN 390.

of course - this kind of aircraft cannot be called Ultralight, although its empty weight could be  very similar

After first results from Shark flights, we discussed influence of possible Rotax 914 installation.

We had preferred that  not so much, excluding flying in mountain .

Now -  one special customer was coming, often  using his plane for special purposes - long distances in higher flight levels .

- so we gave to calculate which difference can be shown for Shark with Rotax 914 opposite to Rotax 912 ULS.

And we are really surprised !

Really, Rotax 914 does not have some sense for smaller flight levels, because installation of turbocharged engine brings higher cost, higher weight and lot of next complications - and if we will be not able to install  supercharger inside of existing Shark's shape, it will bring next aerodynamic drag of needed "bumble" for turbocharger ... and its bigger air intake.

But at 10 000 ft altitude, diffenence of TAS speed is around 50 km/hour - and max horizontal speed at 20 000 ft touch 350 km/hour !!!

Although they are theoretical analysis only, calculated by experienced aerodynamicist  Pavel Pištěcký - I am afraid, we cannot leave this potential ability of Shark aircraft.

This potential new value is here :
