Every aircraft has some unique visual feature that sets it apart from other similar-looking types in its class. With a fairly typical front end and wing planform for a tri-gear, high-wing airplane, the SportRider profile may not grab your attention until you get to the tail. Looking like a shark fin, the raked-back vertical stabilizer protruding high above the tail section may have been included to set the design apart, or maybe the designer felt such a shape provided some benefit in performance or safety value. In any case, you'll have no problem picking out a SportRider on a crowded airport ramp among all the other general aviation planes...
