When 300km/hour is not enough, there are some ideas to create jet-powered aircraft using Shark design, so You could fly 400-500 km/hour according to used engine.

Price-induction jet looks nice for that purposes :
At Take Off Power, you can get up to 255daN, consuming 80kg/h of fuel for the DGEN 380 and 330daN with 100kg/h fuel consumption for the DGEN 390.

of course - this kind of aircraft cannot be called Ultralight, although its empty weight could be  very similar

There are some pretty nice pictures from web HansAir, described installation of xenon LED reflector and position lights mounted in MD3 Rider.

HansAir webâ??pages informed in their fun style:

From yesterday, Rider Made in Hluk is given to operation air alert of HansAir night fighters. This is its look after we installed xeon LED lights . Before that, he was poor devil absolutely blind and in the sunset not visible. â?Ś

It has mounted landing light, position lights and powerful beacon Strob10 on the tail â?? and with all of that it needs 3,5A only . Life 100.000 hours is out of comment and intensity - the same.
