Yesterday, Shark 003 did a world speed record attempt on the distance 15 to 25 km. Weather was not perfect, windy and quite bumpy. But my lady copilot had a very busy timetable and Vlado had asked me not to push too much. So we went for it. Primary result is that we did the job with an average speed of 282 km/hr. It is now in the hands of the French federation, waiting for handover to the FAI. It will stay as pending for a few months. Anyway, this is really what the Shark can do, and I can tell you that it will give a lot more.
