When 300km/hour is not enough, there are some ideas to create jet-powered aircraft using Shark design, so You could fly 400-500 km/hour according to used engine.

Price-induction jet looks nice for that purposes :
At Take Off Power, you can get up to 255daN, consuming 80kg/h of fuel for the DGEN 380 and 330daN with 100kg/h fuel consumption for the DGEN 390.

of course - this kind of aircraft cannot be called Ultralight, although its empty weight could be  very similar

December 8th we received technical certificate of Gryf P27 aircraft, so have some personal flying hours in our baby now ... at last !!!

After long flight tests  with various vortex-generators we recognized it is not the best way for whole aircraft speed range - and changed rear fuselage part a bit. Step-by-step we solved not only buffeting problems, but in the same time increased max level speeds of our new aircraft type.

All tests confirmed, we reached our idea of UL and 600kg E-LSA plane with high-lift profile and simple flap, focused to easy access, wide outlook and good stability ...

For next changes and test flights, we removed our aircraft to our friend hangars in Kunovice airport, where we step-by-step arranged next changes to solve P27 prototype problems and improve its quality and performances.

September 1st - Mirek Janák preparing aircraft for first increased-fuselage volume test flights

Here You can see Veronika and Marián Mečiars - Aerosspool CZ ... helping with a lot of small problems ... Their composite highwing named Classic is parking right-side

First rear fuselage changes were tested by Radek Surý test pilot ... Many thanks !!!

September 13th, Kunovice airport

... and final shape was tested by Radek Škvařil test pilot - You can recognize bigger surface changes ....

We tested that , using simple  cotton tests, using 70-Euros camera, mounted on the wing - and some dozens of red cotton pieces. This very cheap way successfully helped with all problems of tail buffeting .

To the next fligh test - October 14th, 2011

Return from last test flight approved all surface changes - so aircraft confirmed all to receive LAA technical certificate Z.

With help of Gryf club member Marián Rydlo and mechanic Pavel Talášek we hope, solved "ghost" inside of electricity system ...

After that we moved prototype to Senica composite workshop, to change prototype rear fuselage shell with final - composite one.

November 2nd  - Bohuš Závodný finalizing new rear fuselage shell with classic composite shape technology - so surface is much better then in prototype shape,  approved in flight

- so 11th December we could test that in flight - and test pilot Radek Škvařil could show us what to do to fly our own plane personally. Bohuš Závodný - and his first personal flight.

During next development we would like to redesign Gryf P27 tail from fabric covered to all-metal , riveted from aluminium alloy sheets (MD3 approved technology), and some next prepared changes, better for potential sertial production  - to introduce this aircraft for potential producers and customers in the all offers, this design can do .
