When 300km/hour is not enough, there are some ideas to create jet-powered aircraft using Shark design, so You could fly 400-500 km/hour according to used engine.

Price-induction jet looks nice for that purposes :
At Take Off Power, you can get up to 255daN, consuming 80kg/h of fuel for the DGEN 380 and 330daN with 100kg/h fuel consumption for the DGEN 390.

of course - this kind of aircraft cannot be called Ultralight, although its empty weight could be  very similar

There is very nice to see written "MODERN MARVELS" on the Shark 3D drawing - used as illustration of LSA future progress by Dan Johnson's talk about LSA at Sport Aviation Expo after-party.

At Sebring You could find new USA dealer of MD3 Rider - Space Coast Aviation Services, Inc. Their web pages invites "to visit us at Sun'n Fun to see the MD3 Rider in Person" (April 8-13 2008 at Lakeland, Florida)

By words of Ron Bearer Jr. - President of Space Coast Aviation Services, Inc. :

"we will be in space LP-50 at Sun N Fun which is in the Light Plane area. We will have a MD3 Rider on display and avialable for test flights.

At that event we have Dan Johnson writing a flight review as well as, Flying Magazine and Plane & Pilot.

To know more about Sebring Sport Aviation Expo , visit Sport-aviation-expo , EAA Sebring web page, or look to Sebring galery

If Czech language is not problem for You, or is enough to see a lot of next nice pictures from Jan Fridrich, author of all picures shown here, visit LAA web.

Skyboy did not arrive to Sebring, maybe because of bad weather. But Interplane brought new design of Marek Ivanov. His ZJ Viera (Trust in Slovakian language) is really unique.

I believe, I trust, this kind of flying toy with empty weight under 90kg can be really interesting for the future. I would prefere "more sexy" toy for bigger boys only. (see its pictures shown in both articles about Sebring)
