When 300km/hour is not enough, there are some ideas to create jet-powered aircraft using Shark design, so You could fly 400-500 km/hour according to used engine.

Price-induction jet looks nice for that purposes :
At Take Off Power, you can get up to 255daN, consuming 80kg/h of fuel for the DGEN 380 and 330daN with 100kg/h fuel consumption for the DGEN 390.

of course - this kind of aircraft cannot be called Ultralight, although its empty weight could be  very similar

7 years ago, Bill McClung, Sunâ??n Fun director and president of interplane USA came with idea to create wide offer of the best Czech light airplanes for USA market â?? started from Pt103 ultralight Griffon , with Skyboy as ultralight trainer and Eurostar and Sova as a kits, until new US regulation for LSA will be accepted. That time we brought with Skyboy and Griffon first Eurostars (just now for USA Evektor SportStar ) and first Sovas (just now for USA KP-5 Kappa ) to USA market.

If owner of that company Ralph Mandarino would not listen to his â??experienced advisorsâ??, just now (according to actual information about SLSA sales) his company could be one from leaders of SLSA market â?? with 14% share = 156 airplanes sold â?Ś

Good idea Bill - I am sorry we could not continue together â?Ś

Sport Aircraft from Czech Republic - During Sun'n Fun 1999 we shown really interesting team - under Czech and USA flags visitors could recognize specialists from Evektor, Kappa, Interplane and Gryf .

First aircraft from Evektor was brought to USA 1999 by us - as a first plane with colorschemes of stars and strips . Original artist work, offered to Bill by director of Evektor-Aerotechnik Marián Mečiar used light and dark blue, but Bill ask to change light blue with red color.

First Sova in USA with their Jihlava team -
