When 300km/hour is not enough, there are some ideas to create jet-powered aircraft using Shark design, so You could fly 400-500 km/hour according to used engine.

Price-induction jet looks nice for that purposes : 
At Take Off Power, you can get up to 255daN, consuming 80kg/h of fuel for the DGEN 380 and 330daN with 100kg/h fuel consumption for the DGEN 390.

of course - this kind of aircraft cannot be called Ultralight, although its empty weight could be  very similar

Actually we continue in P27 cotton tests, using 70-Euros camera, mounted on the wing - and some dozens of red cotton pieces. This very cheap way - together with some pieces of vortex generators - solved basic problems with tail buffeting .

During competition Paris - Madrid 2011, started 16-th June , Eric de Barberin-Barberini meet opposite rotor rear of the mountain, so performed with his son natural crash test, ten meters under mountain saddle. Classic pilot mistake, not so much nice by 300km/hour Shark's speeds. Aircraft is totally destroyed - excluding cockpit safety-structure, crew survived without bigger problems. 19th July of 2011, P27 proof of concept performed its first flight at aeroclub airport Kroměříž - controlled by LAA test pilot Miroslav Rakušan. During followed days , aircraft continues in test flights, to adjust engine and flying characteristics, to be able to use that for normal enjoy flying and introducing to companies, interested in its serial production ...

NEXT-Aircraft meeting at Voghera : MD3 Rider is back Print E-mail

From this July, Italian  Next Aircraft company is going to start MD3 Rider production again.

Final version for 2012 will have couple of technological changes, bringing MD3 Rider again to the good position in the world  UL and LSA market. To fly 222 km/hour in 1,17m cockpit with 300kg payload for LSA version is still not bad.

Next MD3 Riders will be assembled in large new production facilities ,  located at Voghera airport near Milan, Italy.

Today  - 10:55  - prototype of EV55 succesfully performed its 30 minutes first flight.

Congatulations on Your new baby - to all Evektor's friends, starting from EV55 chiefdesigner Petr Štěrba -  one from first Gryf club member, one from signed under documentation of Skyboy and P27  - and sometimes flying our grandaddy Gryf ULM-1 ultralight . . . . . . It looks, our ultralights are year by year - little bit bigger .
