Technical Commision of LAA met in Hluk. The feature of meeting was to judge certification documents of MD3 Rider declared to LAA whole process of design, strength and aerodynamic verification. Shown MD3 Rider with 80HP engine has measured empty weight 286,8 kg (basic standard weight with electric driven flaps, VSI , transceiver ICOM A200 and intercom, fuel pressure indicator, board clock and heating). |

Aircraft MD3 Rider received Certification of Airworthiness of Slovak CAA No. 41/2006.
Aircraft 029 will fly with matriculation OM-UHLO, where Uhlo is name of family dog (Uhlo means coal in dialect, so probably their dog is black). It is a pity, this aircraft is not black too :o)

6-th March 2006 - delivered aircraft No. 025 to Italy, classic Italian aircraft with Rotax 912S and rescue system.
27-th March 2006 - delivered aircraft No. 026 for USA dealer.
This aircraft was delivered without any instrumentation - prepared for dealer's digital instruments from Aveo production line. This aircraft had USA classic colorscheme 103 with metalic
color (burgund red).

EAA's latest Sport Pilot Tour stop drew several hundred aviation enthusiasts to Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona, last Saturday to learn more about opportunities in the growing sport pilot/light-sport aircraft community. The successful event drew a best-yet 18 certificated light-sport aircraft (LSA) from 13 manufacturers and more than 600 attendees. The 500-plus attendee registrations is another high for the tour, resulting in a large number of new EAA members.
