Technická komise LAA ČR měla dne 31.5.2006 zasedání v Hluku u Kunovic. Jednání se zůčastnili pánové Chvojka, M. Kábrt, Mečiar, Theiner, Teplý, Vychopeř a Chvála. Jednání předcházela podrobná technická prohlídka letounu MD3 Rider přistaveného do hangáru na letišti v Kunovicích. Kontrolovaný letoun vážil 287 kg. Poté následovala prohlídka areálu výrobní firmy GRYF Aircraft s.r.o. v Hluku u Kunovic, která tento typ vyrábí. Prohlédli jsme si výrobní postupy a rozestavěné letouny v různém stavu rozpracovanosti. Výroba i rozpracované letouny se líbily. Na jednání byl projednáván mimo jiné Typový průkaz letounu MD3 Rider...
Every aircraft has some unique visual feature that sets it apart from other similar-looking types in its class. With a fairly typical front end and wing planform for a tri-gear, high-wing airplane, the SportRider profile may not grab your attention until you get to the tail. Looking like a shark fin, the raked-back vertical stabilizer protruding high above the tail section may have been included to set the design apart, or maybe the designer felt such a shape provided some benefit in performance or safety value. In any case, you'll have no problem picking out a SportRider on a crowded airport ramp among all the other general aviation planes...
