When 300km/hour is not enough, there are some ideas to create jet-powered aircraft using Shark design, so You could fly 400-500 km/hour according to used engine.

Price-induction jet looks nice for that purposes : 
At Take Off Power, you can get up to 255daN, consuming 80kg/h of fuel for the DGEN 380 and 330daN with 100kg/h fuel consumption for the DGEN 390.

of course - this kind of aircraft cannot be called Ultralight, although its empty weight could be  very similar

End of July 2008 SHARK fuselage interior was first time tested - and COMP-LET resulted to increase space for second pilot and baggage compartment area.

Finally the MD3 Rider - production number 048 is in Finland! Today we weight it and then we need the inspection from the authorities to get the permit-to-fly. Everybodys loving the Rider. Great design! :)

Its snow-white now with registration OH-U528, but its getting a special paint during the winter!

Friday, 20th June 2008 SHARK fuselage molds were first time opened - so COMP-LET can start first fuselage shell of Shark production.

Today COMP-LET finished fuselage negative molds for SHARK aircraft.

Second half of robust steel frame is created now , to have Shark fuselage molds prepared for first fuselage shell production during next weeks

... paralelly Aerospool CZ prepares engine installation , stylist Peťo Zeman creates first interior panels, undercarriage is in production and finally verificated by stressmen Ludvik Bedřich , 3D airframe is analyzed by FEM of Igor Špaček ... day by day Shark is metamorphosed from pure theory to reality...

Production of negative fuselage molds is going to its last phase - one half of fuselage negative mold is finished including separate molds of center wing and robust mold frame.... Shark's second half of body needs to receive its stamp only
